Accessibility Statement

This statement describes the approach MailMama Software LLC takes to accessibility, the standard we work toward, the current status of our website and application, and how to contact us if you encounter a barrier.
1. Our Approach
MailMama Software LLC (“MailMama”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) aims to make its website at https://mailmama.net/ and its email application usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, speech input, or keyboard-only navigation.
Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain the product rather than as a one-time project. We review accessibility when we design new features, and we address reported barriers as part of our normal development work.
2. Standard We Work Toward
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at Level AA as the reference standard for our website and application. WCAG 2.1 is published by the World Wide Web Consortium and is the standard referenced by accessibility requirements in a number of jurisdictions, including the European standard EN 301 549 and United States federal procurement rules.
WCAG 2.1 Level AA is our target, not a claim of achieved conformance. We do not state that our website or application fully conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we do not claim compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, the European Accessibility Act, or any other accessibility law or standard.
3. Current Status
Our current assessment is one of partial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some parts of the website and application meet the standard and some parts do not yet meet it.
This assessment is based on internal review and on testing during development. No formal third-party accessibility audit or certification has been completed. If we obtain a formal audit or accessibility conformance report in the future, we will update this statement and make the report available.
4. Measures We Take
Using semantic markup and document structure so that headings, lists, landmarks, and form fields are conveyed correctly to assistive technology.
Providing text alternatives for meaningful non-text content, and marking decorative content so that it is skipped.
Supporting keyboard navigation for interactive elements, with a visible focus indicator.
Associating form fields with labels and providing error messages in text rather than by color or position alone.
Working toward text and interface contrast ratios that meet the Level AA thresholds.
Avoiding the use of color alone to convey meaning.
Allowing page content to be resized and reflowed without loss of function.
Reviewing accessibility during the design and development of new features.
5. Known Limitations
We are aware that barriers remain in some areas. The following are the categories where issues are most likely to occur.
Message content created by others. The accessibility of an email you receive depends on how the sender composed it. We cannot control whether incoming messages include text alternatives, adequate contrast, or a readable structure.
Attachments. Documents and files attached to messages are created by third parties and may not be accessible. We do not modify or remediate attachments.
Third-party components. Parts of the experience provided by third parties, including the payment checkout, may not fully meet the standard. We raise issues with those providers where we identify them.
Complex interface areas. Dense interactive areas such as message lists, filter builders, and settings tables may present navigation or announcement issues with some assistive technology and browser combinations.
Older published material. Documents and pages published earlier may not meet current practice until they are revised.
6. Compatibility
We aim to support current versions of widely used browsers together with current versions of widely used assistive technology on desktop and mobile platforms. Older browsers, older assistive technology, and unusual combinations of the two may not work as intended. Because the Service also supports standard email protocols including JMAP, IMAP, POP3, and SMTP, you may use a third-party email client that suits your accessibility needs. The accessibility of such a client is determined by its own developer.
7. Feedback and Assistance
If you encounter a barrier, or if you need information or assistance in a different format, contact us at info@mailmama.net with the subject line “Accessibility”. Describing the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using helps us reproduce the issue.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days and to give an assessment of the issue and an indication of how we intend to address it. Where a fix will take time, we will try to offer an interim way to complete the task. Priority is given to barriers that prevent a person from completing an essential task such as signing in, reading or sending mail, or managing a subscription.
8. Alternative Ways to Reach Us
If the website or application prevents you from completing something, you may contact us by email at info@mailmama.net, and we will help you complete the task through another route. This includes account questions, cancellation requests, refund requests, and billing enquiries.
9. Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility report, reply to our response and ask for it to be escalated, or write to us at 75 E 3rd St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. We will review the matter again and respond.
10. Changes to This Statement
We review this statement when we make significant changes to the website or application, and at least once a year. The current version is always available at https://mailmama.net/ with the Effective Date shown at the top.
11. Contact Information
Accessibility reports, requests for assistance, and requests for information in an alternative format should be directed to the contact details below, using the subject line “Accessibility”.
